OGGETTO.
Interview with Minister Tschoffen regarding the Papal Audience.
Your Eminence,
Mr. Tschoffen, Minister of Industry and Labor, who had the honour of being received in private audience by His Holiness upon his return to Brussels, expressed his impressions of the Papal Audience in an interview with the Catholic newspaper “Le XX Siècle.”
These were reproduced by all newspapers, including liberal ones, and were received with sympathy.
I enclose the text of the Minister’s statements. Prostrate before the Sacred Purple with feelings of profound respect, I have the honour to repeat myself.

Eminenza Reverendissima,
Il signor Tschoffen, Ministro dell’Industria e del Lavoro, che ha avuto l’onore di essere ricevuto in privata udienza da Sua Santità, di ritorno a Bruxelles, ha manifestato, in una intervista concessa al giornale cattolico ” Le XX Siècle”, le sue impressioni circa l’Udienza Pontificia.
Esse sono state riprodotte da tutti i giornali, anche liberali, e accolte con simpatia.
